DRINKING WATER

Water which does not contain micro-organisms or other substances in concentrations such as to pose a potential danger to the health of the user.

Main pollutants: E.Coli, bacteria and viruses, lindane, copper and zinc, etc.

WASTE WATER

Waste water, are the waters used in human, domestic, industrial or agricultural activities, which for this reason contain organic and inorganic substances that can harm health and the environment.

Main pollutants: copper, nitrite, aromatic amines, potassium, ammonium, etc.

FRESH WATER

Fresh water refers to the whole set of non-salt water.

Main pollutants: phosphorous, sulfite and nitrite, ammonium, hydrogen peroxide, mercury, lead, bacteria, etc.

RECREATIONAL

Water intended for recreational use.
Swimming pools, spa, thermal pools, bathing areas.

The main pollutants to be monitored are at bacteriological level.


Chemical parameters require constant control to ensure an optimal level of some substances (e.g. chlorine)
